Mario Neira is a Florida licensed home inspector who operates a home inspection business serving the Tampa Bay area and surrounding counties. His primary business is home inspections and consulting for individuals purchasing new homes, older historic homes and commercial buildings. He also performs progress inspections for new construction and serves as an expert witness in legal cases involving construction and home inspections. 

Mario personally has more than 20-years experience in the industry with over fourty-thousand (40,000) hours of combined knowledge in the construction and the building inspection field for residential and commercial buildings. In addition, since the year 2000 to present, he has and continues to be a guest speaker for the Consumer Credit Counseling Work Shop for the Hillsborough and Polk county agencies first time home buyers program. Mario teaches consumers what to look for when hiring an inspector, what are the benifits of hiring an inspector and what to expect in a typical home inspection. Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping financial wellness of individuals. For over 30-years they have been helping people improve their lives.

Project Development, Construction and Home Inspection Experience


1998 to present: Phased into full time building inspections from hands on construction and high-end remodeling. Primary business is home inspections, new construction inspections, consulting and commercial building inspections. Performing new construction inspections while interacting with builders and municipal building departments. Worked with a developer and helped manage and convert hotels into condotels in Orlando and Dunedin Florida from 2005 to 2007.

1992 to 1998: Established and operated a construction and remodeling business. Performed many repairs for real estate transactions where inspections reports found defects.

1989 to 1992: Started working with a general contractor and was promoted to project leader within one-year.
